December 1 (9:30am-5:00pm) and December 2 (9:30am-4:00pm)

Who is it for?

Inclusive Movement-Building is for anyone working or volunteering on social change campaigns or at progressive non-profits, who want to deepen their understanding of how systems of oppression show up in our organizations and communities. And how to resist those systems to make our organizations and communities more equitable and inclusive.

Dates & Locations

UFCW 1518 Office at 350 Columbia St in New Westminster, Unceded Qayqayt, Katzie, Skwxwú7mesh, Tsleil-Waututh, and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm Territory. It is a 5 minute walk from the Columbia Skytrain station. There is a parking lot next door that charges $8.50/day.

Inclusive Movement-Building is on December 1 (9:30am-5:00pm) and December 2 (9:30am-4:00pm). We will provide coffee and tea. Please bring a lunch for yourself. If anyone is able to bring snacks for the training to share with everyone, we'd really appreciate it!


-We’d like to have this event be scent-free, please help and refrain from wearing or using scented products.

-The room is wheelchair accessible and can be accessed by stairs or an elevator. There

are wheelchair accessible washrooms in the building.

-There are two gendered, multi-stall washrooms that we will be de-gendering for the training. There is a private washroom on a separate floor.

Tuition for Inclusive Movement-Building is $275. Scholarships are available for individuals and organizations who cannot afford the full tuition fee. You'll have a chance to apply for a scholarship as part of your training application.

Cancellation Policy

Participants that cancel via email to an Organize BC staff a minimum of 10 working days prior to the first session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations that occur later than that may not be eligible for a refund.
