Storytelling for Changemakers

With an election fast approaching, competition is fierce for the attention of politicians and voters. Campaigns with the most compelling messages, told through stories that connect with people's values, will rise to the top. Storytelling for Changemakers will help you tell compelling stories to bring people into your campaigns and move them to action.

After a brief review of storytelling tools, most of the workshop will be spent preparing and sharing stories, and supporting each other through improving them. Organizers, volunteers, and leaders of ALL experience levels, and campaign ambition, are welcome.
Please RSVP so we can have a sense of how many people to prepare for.

Time and Place
The workshop will be April 5, 2017 at 6:00pm - 8:30pm, at City Studio 1800 Spyglass Place, located underneath the Cambie Street Bridge.  Transit (Canada line station: Olympic Village), or traveling by bike are the most convenient ways to travel to this venue. There is limited paid parking available at the venue.
